Anatomy of A Confused Mind

Do you remember the first time you made a core-shaking decision that was going to change the direction of your life ? Close your eyes and go back to that time. I want you to be with me while I’m going through this experience that’s similar to yours.

It’s been a while since I made a decision. A decision that is so intense for me to go with the flow. I’ve moved to another country! For better living standards, for freedom and for my dreams and hopes.

Why do we grow up? Can’t we just skip this bitter chapter of our lives ?! Am I doing the right thing? Is a better future waiting for me? Is it worth the time? Is it worth my effort? But most importantly, is it worth the longing? I can’t know this.

We run after things that we want to achieve. For the sake of it, we leave our families and our lovers behind. All for what ? For having more money, live happily, taste the peace of democracy. Why can’t we live all these in our homelands ? Why do we destroy each other’s lives when we have such a limited time on this planet ?

I still don’t know if I’ll ever going to reach my ideals yet I am determined enough to push my limits and see what the future holds for me. In the end, at least I will know what to say to myself, ” Do not worry ! At least, you have tried : ) “.

How to and where to find a piece of peace ? Contrary to all my inner chaos and searching, I’ve been looking around for days now knowing the answer is within me.

My restless mind had found the peace it seeks through meditation. I light sea scented candles and open all the windows. Breathing in the fresh air, my mind is being cleansed of impurities and concerns.

My daily meditation is based on positive thoughts and affirmations. Concentrating on seeing the good in bad and learning from my past experiences, I repeat these words ;

  • You will fall apart into pieces,
  • You will put each of these pieces together tunefully.
  • You will heal.
  • Having transformed into a rock,
  • You’re not only strong but also conductive.
  • Stay in an eternal harmony with each and everything around you.
  • Let your worries fly away.
  • Clear your mind of can’t and won’t,
  • Give yourself a break, welcome the miracle in.
  • Become a healer.

I wanted to share my technique with you. I hope it will help you ease your doubts too. As Hermann Hesse penned, ”

“Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at anytime and be yourself.”

Have a week full of miracles 🙂
